Spend a week soaking up the blues in Montreux – home of the world-famous Jazz Festival that welcomed legends like B.B. King, and the city that inspired 'Smoke on the Water'. Boost your acoustic guitar playing at the Tralala Hotel, a cozy, music-themed bubble just a short walk from the lake. CLASSES: This week-long workshop is all about playing, learning, and connecting with other guitar lovers in an inspiring & friendly setting. Two teachers, two levels: > Diana Gisler (Opus 1604 | Switzerland) – Blues Fundamentals If you can play basic chords but are new to the blues, Diana will get you started with the essentials: blues forms, rhythm accompaniments, and a few licks you’ll be able to use right away. Perfect if you’ve always wanted to dive into the blues but didn’t know where to start. > Chris Quinn (www.AcousticMasterclass.com | UK) – Intermediate/Advanced Ready to go further? Chris will take you into the heart of the blues with improvisation, phrasing, groove, and style – everything you need to sound more authentic and confident in your playing. -- SCHEDULE: Sunday – Arrival & Welcome Check in, settle in, meet the group, and share a first dinner together. Monday to Thursday – Music All Day Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then dive into two focused guitar classes (10:45–12:45 and 3:00–5:00). In the evenings, we’ll meet for dinner and keep the music going with acoustic jams for those who want to join.
